Faculty Life Committee
The general purpose of the committee is to organize and monitor faculty reward and support in the interests of professional development.

Responsibilities of the committee include:
- foster faculty development
- review and recommend sabbatical leave applications
- propose salary distribution formulas on an annual basis
- appoint a faculty member to the Benefits Committee
- recommend honorary degree awards
- receive recommendations of policies and procedures from the Tenure and Promotion Committee on an annual basis
- receive a summary report on the actions and recommendations on policies and procedures from the Faculty Review Committee on an annual basis
Personnel:
- Ten faculty representatives, one tenured from each Faculty and five at-large
- President, or his or her representative
- Provost and Dean of the College, or his or her representative
- Assistant Provost of the College, or his or her representative
- One student
Terms of Office: Faculty representatives serve two-year terms with terms of office staggered.
The Faculty Life Committee replaces the following committees:
