Sherry reported that the deadline for recertification of GE courses has been extended for a year. Therefore, the committee can take the rest of this academic year to catch up on our schedule. We will wait until fall to consider MCS-G.

The Committee discussed the following issues:

  • Moving to on-line course proposals.
  • Designating GE’s for off-campus courses.
  • How the new curriculum committee proposal differs from the current committee structure and how the new structure would affect student representation.

For our next meeting, Committee members will explore the GEC website and offer feedback.
