Minutes of the March 20, 2007 GEC Meeting
GEC members present: Sherry Saterstrom (chair, FA), Elizabeth Leer (SSF), Kathy Shea (NSM), Kathy Granquist (Registrar’s Office, ex-officio), Karl Fink (HUM)
The meeting was called to order at 4:00 p.m.
Minutes from the February 26 meeting were approved as written.
The Committee considered the following course proposals and took the indicated action.
Education 246, English Language Learners: Issues in Education
Action: Approved for MCS-D
The Committee considered the following proposals for GE recertification and took the indicated action.
Biology, recertification for SED and IST,
with request that GE credit for Advanced Placement (AP) credit be revisted.
The next meeting will be Tuesday, April 3, 2007.
