Urban Studies in Chicago is an opportunity for people to participate in a course called Core. In this course students will take class in Chicago and you will gain first hand experience through discussions, public speakers, and meeting with community groups. St. Olaf College's Lily Endowment Program is providing Summer Vocational Community Internships. Interns work with Minneapolis and St. Paul urban areas churches that are particularly active in their communities, and interns will receive a stipend of $2,000. Partners Internship Program (PIP) has 20 paid summer Internships available, which allow students to have a valuable contribution to the nonprofit's mission and provides valuable skills and experience for working in the nonprofit sector. Internships are with organizations located in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and North Dakota. Positions are 400 hours, approximately 10 weeks full-time; wage is $9.25 per hour. Minnesota Timberwolves & Lynx Sports Internship & Career Fair! The Sports Internship & Career Fair will offer the opportunity to network and speak with professionals from organizations in the Sports/Entertainment Industry including: Timberwolves, Lynx, Vikings, Twins, Alexandria Beetles, Waterloo Bucks and many more. Experience Norway with the Snåsa Internship which is a non-credit three week stay in one of Norway's most beautiful and diverse communities where you will experience and learn about the Norwegian culture. This internship is only available to current St. Olaf students and is suitable for those interested in nature resource management, forestry, farming, national parks, biology, botanic, Norwegian language and history, and the South Sami people.
