SOLGEN Allies

Straight, not narrow

The allies are people who voice their support for GLBT persons within the St. Olaf College community and promote equality and respect for all. The allies include faculty/staff and students at St. Olaf College, alumni, emeriti, family and friends of current students and alumni, and members of the Northfield community. Some allies have family members or friends who are gay or lesbian, but others just feel strongly that all people should be respected and treated equally in their workplaces, their schools, and in society in general. See the current list of allies below.

How do I become a SOLGEN ally?

To become an ally, please send an e-mail to solgen-info@stolaf.edu. Your name will be added to the current list of over 173 people below, and you will also be added to the SOLGEN allies e-mail list so that you can receive announcements and insights of interest about GLBT issues and events.
