Eida Berrio
Dean of Community Life and Diversity

Every day, Eida Berrio is initiating conversations about diversity. A graduate of Seton Hall University, she holds bachelor's and master's degrees in K-12 education and a doctoral degree in higher education administration. Eida’s experience as dean of students at the New Jersey Institute of Technology and assistant dean of students at Princeton University has given her myriad experience in bringing students from a variety of backgrounds together. In her free time, Eida enjoys reading, traveling, dancing, and speding time with family and friends.
 
Tim Schroer
Associate Dean of Community Life and Diversity
Director of Buntrock Commons


As Director of Buntrock Commons, Tim Schroer is truly at the heart of the St. Olaf campus. He loves St. Olaf for its community, to which he makes contributions by organizing events and helping the Dean of Community Life start conversations about diversity. With a master's degree in higher education from Indiana University, Tim spent time at DePauw and Northwestern Universities before coming to St. Olaf. He is a marathon runner and enjoys travel.
 
Bill Green ’77
Assistant Dean
Director of Multicultural Affairs and Community Outreach


For almost 20 years, Bill Green has helped students from a variety of backgrounds succeed at St. Olaf. After receiving degrees in sociology and political science, he returned to the Hill in 1986 as a member of the admissions staff to work with urban minority youth. In his current position, he inspires students to appreciate the importance of cultural awareness, working to forge an atmosphere where cultural uniqueness is shared and celebrated.
 

Naurine Lennox
Associate Professor of Social Work
Faculty Education Diversity Coordinator


Social work as a discipline is centered on human diversity, so it is only natural that Naurine Lennox finds a strong synergy between her roles as associate professor of social work and faculty education diversity coordinator. As part of the Community Life & Diversity staff, she serves as a faculty liaison for issues that relate to diversity and academics. After graduating from University of Chicago with a master's degree in social work, she came to St. Olaf in 1977. Outside of work, her passion is riding trains—she has traveled through Canada’s Northwest Territories, England, Russia, China, Mexico and the U.S.

 

Carrie Carlton
Administrative Assistant

Carrie assists the Dean of Community Life and Diversity with secretarial and administrative support. She also collaborates with other offices and academic departments to organize campus-wide events. She has experience in sales, human resources and community outreach. Outside of work, Carrie enjoys fishing, flower gardening and beading.
 

 

Lynn Stenstrom
MACO Administrative Assistant

Lynn Stenstrom has been the Administrative Assistant for the Office of Multicultural Affairs & Community Outreach for four years. Prior to that she worked in the Annual Giving Office for two years. Lynn lives in Northfield and in her spare time enjoys gardening, cooking, and caring for her dog and two cats.


 
Nancy Stuckmayer
Administrative Assistant, Room Scheduler

A graduate of Augsburg College, Nancy’s responsibilities at St. Olaf include scheduling meeting spaces and college vans. She teaches fitness classes at Carleton College twice a week. At home, she enjoys time with her kids aged 9 and 12, camping, and antiques.
 

Kerwin Palan
Buntrock Commons Set-Up Coordinator

Kerwin works with Buntrock Commons staff to set up meeting rooms for conferences and other events. His favorite part of the job is interacting with staff, but after work he enjoys the outdoors. He spent twenty-five years with Fairway Foods before joining the St. Olaf staff.
