Minnesota Residents:
The Minnesota Office of Higher Education has accepted the St. Olaf OleChess Camp as part of their 2012 Summer Academic Enrichment Program. The Summer Academic Enrichment Program will provide stipends on a first-come, first-serve basis, to cover the direct cost for Minnesota students to attend OleChess Camp during the summer of 2012. Students must be completing grades 3-11 and qualify for free or reduced price lunches. Students in grades 7-11 must have earned at least an overall "C" average or its equivalent for the most recently recorded academic term in Communications/Language Arts. Stipends made possible by this grant will allow students from low-income families throughout the state to attend summer academic enrichment programs. Students will only be allowed to receive funds (up to $1000) to attend one enrichment program during the summer of 2012.

You can apply directly for the Summer Academic Enrichment Program with your OleChess Camp registration form or you can also apply for the Summer Academic Enrichment Program on your own. A student application must be completed and is available at: https://www.ohe.state.mn.us/ssl/summerEnrichment/app.cfm. If you complete the form online please be sure to send your completed camp registration form to OleChess Camp.
