During this exciting and engaging offering, aspiring thespians experience many facets of theater taught by creative professionals. 
Acting Camp, June 17 - 23, 2012
For student entering grades 8-12
We have a new name for our established annual theater camp. Explore everything from vocal expression to stage combat with others who love theater as much as you do. We hope to instill in aspiring thespians a deeper understanding of what goes into producing successful theater. This process-driven camp is filled with classes, rehearsals and fun social activities. No prior theater experience is required for this camp. Campers will work with talented instructors as well as guest specialists. Camp Features
Master Class option
Advanced students may opt to take the master classes offered in addition to the whole-camp combat, music, and activities. The Master Class will also include a playwriting seminar with a guest artist and will create their own work for the Saturday performance in addition to exploring individual monologues. Musical Theater Camp, June 24 - 30, 2012
For students entering grades 9-12
New this summer, due to popular demand, St. Olaf Theater Camps has added another offering focusing on musical theater. This process-driven camp will focus on theater combining songs, spoken dialogue, acting, and dance. Students will work with creative professional instructors throughout the week, as well as special guests working in the field. The campers will explore the basics of singing, projection and character development. Spend time with other students who love this genre as much as you. No prior theater experience is required. Two-week Camper Discount: A $50 discount is available to any camper attending both Actors Camp and Musical Theater Camp. Additionally, free Saturday
night housing, pizza dinner and continental breakfast on Sunday will be provided.
