Русский 112 - Весна 2004-го года
Робинсон
Добро Пожаловать
Russian 112 will be a continuation of Russian 111 using the same book - Nachalo/Начало. This course will continue with that painstaking, but ultimately rewarding challenge which looms there on the horizon known to us all as a mastery of the Russian language. To this end, we will work on strengthening our conversational, listening, reading and writing skills.
Students will be required to attend one of the Tuesday sessions. THIS CLASS IS NOT OPTIONAL!!! Attendance will be noted by me. Likewise, language lab attendance is also required. The new language lab provides us with computerized printouts of exactly when you visit the lab, how much time you spend and which tapes you work on while at the lab. Attendance at the lab is included in the class participation grade. The point breakdown for the final grade in this course will be as follows:
Class participation Homework Quizzes - Orals Tests Final Exam TOTAL |
20% - includes attendance 20% 15% 30% 15% 100% |

AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED - THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT OF LANGUAGE LEARNING
IS HAVING AN ENJOYABLE TIME AND USING THE LANGUAGE. THIS IS WHAT YOUR CLASS
PARTICIPATION IS BASED ON. IF YOU ARE SHY, I DON'T KNOW IT AND YOU CAN PRETEND
TO BE AN EXTROVERT DURING THE CLASS. USE THE LANGUAGE AND YOU WILL IMPROVE.
IF YOU DO NOT USE IT, THERE IS NO REASON TO LEARN IT!
Давай Повеселимся!
