This website was
created by Emily in her first year as a St. Olaf
student, her first year as a college student. Religion 121 section K is
a class offered by St. Olaf as one of the required religion courses to
choose from for first year students. The aim of the class is to
familiarize students with the connections between the Biblical
tradition and the cultures and communities related to it. Class work
included studying the storyline of the Bible and analyzing the
different types of texts found in the Bible. Although the class covers
many topics, it is only an introductory course and therefore this
website gives only a taste to the great mysteries and characteristics
of the Bible. Emily hopes to use this information as a base for when
she
conducts future and more extensive Bible study. Explore this website to
learn more about what Emily learned and reflected on in the
duration of this introductory class.
