Conclusion

        Having been ignored in most literature on the subject, draft-age American women who migrated to Canada during the Vietnam War and their unique migration story reflect gender specific experiences otherwise glossed over in the research.  From dissecting the limited personal accounts of women’s migration experience, it can be concluded that these women were afforded more opportunity to actively participate in the antiwar movement and the community as a whole.
