  • 3 singles/1 triple
  • Kitchen/Laundry machine
  • Cable TV w/link to Japanese and Chinese television
  • Campus life policies apply in the house in the same way as they apply in dorms

Selection Criteria

Although the following is preferred, there will be exceptions based on interest, dedication, cultural experience, and the number of applicants

  • Demonstrates passion, dedication, commitment and enthusiasm in supporting and spreading knowledge of Asian Culture at St. Olaf
  • Preference to students who are on Good Academic Standing
  • Seeking a cultural balance
  • Preference to Asian Studies Majors
  • Will be enrolled in an Asian Studies course the following year
  • Preference to Juniors and Seniors, however Sophomores are encouraged to apply
  • Willing to help run language tables
  • Willing to host one event a month with other housemates
