PLACEMENT TEST INFORMATION
Students with some background in Japanese are expected to take the placement test. The test will be administrated on campus during Week 0.
TIME: 4:15pm on Monday, September 5, 2011.
PLACE: Chinese - Tomson Hall 300; Japanese - Tomson Hall 302
FORMAT: The test has two parts: Written portion includes grammar (particles and conjugations), vocabulary, and Kanji, as well as short sakubun. (approximately 30 minutes) There is also a short oral interview (approximately 10 minutes).
Please note: The test is all in Japanese script, not romanized Japanese.
