This grant is the fourth consecutive award we have had from the Howard Hughes Medical Institution. This most recent grant has been used to purchase equipment for molecular biology/ biochemistry and neurobiology programs, supports outreach efforts to underserved groups of students and supports 20 students/summer (14 of whom worked with folks in Biology this summer) in a 10 week research experience here on campus.
