Albert Holmquist 1917 1960 Professor Doctor Holmquist came to St. Olaf in 1917, after being awarded the M.S. degree from the University of Chicago. He had a fellowship with the National Research Council for one year and received his Ph.D. degree in 1925. Viking Yearbook 1945
             
grace holstad image Grace Holstad 1922 1958 Instructor Previous to coming to St. Olaf in 1922, Miss Holstad taught at Spokane College and Canton Normal. She was granted her A.M. degree in 1927 from the University of Colorado. Viking Yearbook 1945

ethel horton image Ethel Horton 1943 1948 Assistant Professor The University of Wisconsin granted Doctor Horton her A.M. degree in 1921, and in 1932 the University of Minnesota awarded her the Ph.D. degree.
