Topical Seminars

Faculty may offer courses through the CIS on topics integrating diverse disciplinary approaches, modes of learning, sites of learning, and forms of presentation.  Specific topics are announced each semester.  These seminars seek 
  • To model and stimulate student integrations of diverse approaches to significant subject matters. 
  • To provide a context for the elaboration of excellent individualized majors. 
  • To promote instances of learning through collaborations across department boundaries.
