CHRISTIE'S PROGRESS JOURNAL: DECEMBER 2004

This month I met with a playwright's group at the Northfield Arts Guild. I brought my original folktale to them and they gave me some great tips about how to improve upon it. Some of the tips were:

-Make sure each character has a distinct personality.

-Have some kind of puppet processional before the puppet show.

-Make sure the Marksman has clear motives for harming earth and then for having a change of heart and learning to love the earth.

The meeting was very helpful. I hope to invite the local playwrights to see the puppet show in April.
