“In the new model (of American everyday life), new development will be mixed-use rather than monocultures of residences, shopping places, or office parks. Streets will be designed to accommodate pedestrians, bicyclists, buses, and trolleys as well as private cars. Rail transit will knit the city together, with each station surrounded by tightly clustered workplaces, shops, and apartment buildings, grading outward to townhouses and finally to detached houses on small-sized lots. Each station will have its own identity and sense of community.”

Welcome to a culmination of my past four years in St. Olaf's Environmental Studies Program. It was at St. Olaf College, in Northfield, Minnesota that I obtained environmental ethics and an environmental vocabulary. The St. Olaf Environmental Studies Department and professors have guided and mentored me in my environmental journey. Amble through my experiences, environmental ethic, senior project and courses. These are the stories of my life. St. Olaf has prepared me for living and sharing these stories, and I feel honored to have your attention, enjoy!
