Calligraphy

When a master calligrapher sits down to perform his art, he may warm up with a few basic characters, but eventually he will begin writing a piece from memory or a printed source. I, however, am not a master calligrapher. When proposing my major I was taking Prof. Wan's Chinese Calligraphy class and felt a piece of my project should include a piece of calligraphy. While enrolled in that class I developed an interest in the ancient seal style of calligraphy, or zhuang shu.

Calligraphy Proofs

When writing a piece of calligraphy it is necessary to have model characters. I have deemed these model characters "proofs".
