The greatest mistake in the treatment of diseases is that there are physicians for the body and physicians for the soul, although the two cannot be separated. ~Plato

I'm Hayley Ross, a senior at St. Olaf College in Minnesota, though I'm originally from Colorado Springs, CO. In April 2006, I decided to put aside my progress towards a bachelor's in chemistry and take up formal study of cultural medicine (called medical anthropology in academia).

I hope to pursue further study with a combined degree in medicine and public health.

That's me in the foreground. Thanks to my Norwegian heritage, I'm the blonde.
