My experience in Peru was my first look at national medicine systems abroad in practice. In the fall of 2005, our group met weekly to discuss Peruvian health care, poverty, vocation, and compassion. I began thinking of cultural preservation with language rights, and wrote a paper on preservation on indigenous Quechuan language for the course (Click here to view)
