Jo Olson is responsible for the management of the Education Department office. Jo attended St. Olaf as an art major and graduated from Hamilton Business College as an Administrative Medical Assistant. Jo has prior work experience as the medical assistant in a doctor’s clinic and a Lutheran retirement home. She worked as the office manager at the Northfield Arts Guild for five years before coming to St. Olaf in 1998. In her spare time, Jo enjoys working with her art, biking, kayaking, and swimming. Having grown up in Iowa, crossing the border to Minnesota has been the perfect move to enjoy the out-of-doors. Jo has three grown children and seven grandchildren.
