Mary Trull has been a member of the English department since 2003. She grew up in South Carolina, went to college near Philadelphia, and finally found her heart's home on the Midwestern plains, first in Chicago as a graduate student and then in Minnesota. Mary specializes in Renaissance/Early Modern literature, particularly in genre, gender studies, and the history of the household. In 2005, she has articles in Renaissance literature appearing the journal "English Literary Renaissance" and in a collection of essays titled Translating Desire in Medieval and Early Modern Literature, ed. Craig Berry and Heather Hayton. Her teaching interests include Shakespeare, film, poetry, Medieval and Renaissance literature, and women's studies. Mary lives in Minneapolis with her husband Adrian, her daughter Sadie Rose, and two cats, Etta and Fergus.
