Owing to the great advance in cotton goods, all textiles fabrics are cover foundingly high consequently there is a immensal desire to see flax more generally cultivated.  I have been thinking that your land and climate up in Minnesota are just the kind required to grow it successfully.  Few crops will pay equal toil for several years to come.  I would advise you this year to plant 10 to 12 acres of it, at least  and in order that you might have all the help necessary, to cultivate a good broad stretch of land, now that Jonces are up, I would advise you to set one or two "contrabands" as the most available help you could obtain.  I think you might obtain them here by and bye without difficulty.
