The purpose of this project is to inform readers about the current state of the surface waters of the Cannon River, the regulations protecting the waters in this watershed, and the point-source permitting system used by the state of Minnesota. This web site also contains information regarding local permit holders, the status of these permits, and what can be done by citizens and industry together to maintain and improve the Cannon River Watershed's water quality.
