Many Thanks

My project wouldn't have been a project without my interviewees, truly patient, good people:  Gordon Cumming, Professor Jean Porterfield, and Dave Legvold.  Thank you for sharing your stories with me, with Northfield, with the world.
I hope this project is half as much a treasure to you, as it has been for me.

I COULD NOT have even started work on this project without the patience and support of my professor, Sheri Breen.  She helped me understand what I wanted out of this project by asking me the tough questions that I hadn't answered for myself yet.  Thank you Sheri.
I  have been blessed during my last year of college to run into two of the most supportive, most humbling, most inspiring friends, who listen to me babble about things that most people ignore; Britt and Elise, you're the very best. I wish I would have found you sooner. You help me imagine out loud.
Thank you, Professor Mark Allister, my patient advisor who is never surprised when I make new choices that change my life, in fact, I think you expect them of me.  I appreciate it.  You're my mentor.  Thank you also Professor Jan Allister.  You accidentally taught me that I love to write for children.  You're great.
Thank you, St. Olaf College, for frustrating me, confusing me, inspiring me, and encouraging me to seek the truths I want to find, wherever I might find them.  I owe you money, I'm sure you'll find me.

My mom always encourages me to pick myself back up again and get moving when I run into dead ends, (or fall flat on my face because of my own doing).  Thanks mom.  I'll be thanking you forever.
