Natural Landscaping
in Northfield and the Cannon River Region
Home

Acknowledgments

It was not hard to become completely engaged in this project this semester for two specific reasons:
1.  I was already extremely interested in the subject matter.
2.  There were so many supportive people offering advice, ideas, and knowledge throughout the semester.

Special thanks go to Sheri Breen and the Environmental Studies Department for encouraging and challenging students each year to develop these projects to their greatest potential.

St. Olaf Reference Librarian Kris MacPherson was extremely helpful in searching for project specific sources and finding local contacts for questions and conversations.

The St. Olaf Information and Instructional Technologies (IIT) department continually provided support and ideas concerning web design and layout.

Several Northfield residents graciously invited me into their yards and shared stories from their experiences in landscaping and lawn care.

And (last but not least), my classmates and peers provided helpful feedback and new ideas throughout the projects entirety.

To all who helped and cared in any (or every) way:
THANK YOU!   THANK YOU!   THANK YOU!
