April and By the Sword
Farms Of Northfield

I had a lot of fun going to these very different farms to see their operations and talk to the owners.  Every farm has their own way of doing things, but in each case I found that there was well thought out reasoning behind each and every practice.  While I can't call this a representative sample, these four farms are different in the types of horses they keep, the riding disciplines they focus on, and in management styles.  There is no one right way, and I think that each of these farms has valuable experience and knowledge to share about keeping a horse farm environmentaly friendly.  Follow the links below to see what each farm has to share.
