History Seminars for First-Year Students are open to first-year students only.
Each History Seminar focuses on a different topic but all explore the
fundamental problems of history, emphasizing analysis of primary sources and
critical assessment of historical interpretations. The class size of each History
Seminar is small in order to allow discussion and participation. History Seminars to
