Extra Modest Expressions: Talk modestly of what you do.

Ex: わたしはメアリーハートともうします。 (My name is Mary Hart)

Humble Expressions: demote the subject and raise the profile of another person.

Ex: わたしはせんせいに本をおかえししました。 (I {humbly} returned the book to my professor.)
