すき(な)/ きらい(な)

The pattern for sentences with すき(な)and きらい(な)is as follows:

X は Y が すき/ きらい です。 X likes/dislikes Y

It is important to note three things: one, if you like or dislike something very much, the intensifier, だい may be used. Two, if you want to say you neither like nor dislike something, you would say:

すきでもきらいでもありません。 I neither like nor dislike (it).

And three, すきな and きらいな may be used as noun modifiers. For example:

これはわたしのすきなテレビです。 This is my favorite TV program.
