UPON ARRIVAL
- Did you feel welcomed in Budapest as you arrived?
- Were you met at the airport or train station and taken to
your residence?
- Were you given an Arrival Survival Kit upon arriving in Budapest?
The Arrival Survival Kit should have included such things as: one large map of Budapest
and one small pocket map/book. On one of these maps your housing should
have been clearly marked with a route penned in to tell you how to find
your way back to the school/Buda office. A BSM representative
information in the or the AS kit should also
have told you where to shop in your area for food or where the large
CBA, Kaiser and Spar stores were located and how to use the public transportation
system with your monthly transportation pass.
