• Moodle: Go to the St. Olaf Moodle site (http://moodle.stolaf.edu) and browse the course labeled Norwegian 111.  Write a brief introduction of yourself following the examples provided. At the end of your introduction, add two parts: 1) state which dictionary option you will be using this semester after reading about the options, and 2) Write out the Norwegian vowels after you set up your computer using the vowel directions.
• Theme:  Study the dialogs on p. 7 and 12, listen to the audio clips, and do the Quizlet flashcards.

• Collage: Make a collage that presents what you view as being the most important products, practices, and perspectives in your culture. Your collage should include both text and illustrations, but you can make it on your computer with clip art and digital photos or on poster paper with drawings and pictures from magazines. American culture is too large to be presented in one poster, so focus on the parts of your culture that mean the most to you. Ex. 2.9.
