Listen to the texts and then answer questions in Norwegian..

II. Ordforråd (Vocab) 10 p

Fill in vocabulary from chapters 12 and 13--house, furniture, health, illness, doctor visits, body parts, etc. (use health hand-out, as well as vocab from På vei).

III. Grammatikk 46 p: Review KlikkNorsk sections 1.9-1.13 (irregular nouns), 2.13-2.22 (verb past tenses), 3.18-3.24 (adjectives), 5.19-5.23(possessives), and 9.20-9.24 (word order)

A. Verb: Preteritum 12p
Rewrite the paragraph using the PAST tense form of the verb.

B. Substantiv: Body parts, house, furniture 80p
Fill in the correct noun forms. Remember that some of the plural forms are irregular.

C. Eiendomspronomen (possessives--sin, si , sitt, sine, among others) 10p

D. Comparison and superlative 8 p
Fill in the correct comparative or superlative form of the adjective.

E. Ordstilling 8p
Word order in dependent clauses.

III. Skriftlige oppgaver 35p

A. Intervju / Dialog 15p
Write a dialog in which you discuss an illness or injury that one of you have. Your dialog should have a minimum of 10 questions and answers and include the following topics:

  • appropriate start to the dialog
  • the illness or injury
  • symptoms
  • response and advice from the other person
  • appropriate end to the dialog

The dialog will be graded on

  • its content (breadth and depth of vocabulary usage),
  • grammar (question forms and answers, present tense, word order),

B. Essay 20p
Bring a drawing of your family home. Be prepared to write a one page description of your home, including city/town, yard, house, floors, rooms, activities, and furniture/decorations/appliances, advantages/disadvantages of where you live.

The description will be graded on

  • the content of your description (breadth and depth of vocabulary usage)
  • grammar (especially word order, nouns, and adjectives)
