• You are going to interview a Norwegian "visitor" to St. Olaf. Prepare by practicing with a partner. At the interview you will receive a sheet with the minimum information you need to obtain, but feel free to ask additional questions! You must be sure to use appropriate greetings and closings as well. You will be evaluated on the content of your questions, accuracy and intelligibility of grammar and pronunciation, appropriateness of your greetings and closings and the quantity of your language.

• I will interview you about the topics covered in Norsk i sammenheng chapters 1-7, such as learning Norwegian, identity, descriptions of people, family, names, living conditions, moving, household chores, descriptions of homes and rooms, leisure activities, food, clothing, and school system (including university subjects). Please review especially the words and questions found in the following Ord i sammenheng sections: T2, 6, 13, 31, 46, 48, 68, 85, 88-90, 95-96, 102, 118.
  
  You will be asked to tell about something using past time and future time.
  
• You should be able to understand these questions asked at a moderate tempo and be able to respond in a reasonable amount of time. Practice also some responses to help you control the conversation: Unnskyld, kunne du si det en gang til? Hva betyr ____? etc.
  
  You will be evaluated on vocabulary, comprehension, grammar, pronunciation and quantity of your language--so say lots!
