1A. Adjectives ending in -ig do not add -t in the neuter form
1B. Most adjectives ending in -sk do not add -t in
the neuter
1C. Adjectives that end in -t preceded by a consonant do not take an extra -t in the neuter (svart, kort, flott, interessant)
2. Adjectives ending in a stressed vowel get -tt in the neuter and sometimes no ending in the plural and definite form (blå, grå, ny)
3. Adjectives ending in -en, -el, or -er get contracted forms in the plural and definite forms (sulten, lubben, vakker, åpen)
4A. Adjectives that end in -m add another -m before the -e ending in the plural and definite forms
4B. Adjectives that end in double consonants drop one of the double consonants before adding -t in the neuter
5. Some adjectives are not declined at all
6A. The adjective "liten" is entirely irregular
6B. The adjectives "hel / halv" are declined in the usual way in the indefinite, but when they come before a definite noun, they are not preceded by a definite article.
