Norwegian House Applications

American Students

If you are a student in a Norwegian 112 or higher, you are eligible to apply to live in the Norwegian House. Students who are taking a Norwegian major or a Nordic Studies concentration will receive the top priority. Juniors or seniors will be prioritized higher than sophomores, and students who can live in the house for a full year come ahead of those who are applying for one semester.

Norwegian Resident Assistants

If you are a Norwegian citizen and have lived the majority of your life in Norway and completed secondary school there, you are eligible to apply to be the Norwegian Resident Assistant in the Norwegian House. Students with successful experience serving as a tutor for American students, organizing Norwegian events, and working in the Norwegian Department will receive the highest priority.
