Norwegian Club (Norskklubben)

The Norwegian Club is an organization for students interested in Norwegian and/or Nordic Studies. In cooperation with the Norwegian House and the Norwegian Department, the Norwegian Club organizes campus activities to promote interest in Norway and the other Nordic countries, to provide opportunities for students to use Norwegian outside class, and to encourage social interaction among students, faculty, and members of the community. The Norwegian Club meets from 8 to 9 pm on Sunday evenings in the Norwegian House.

The Norwegian Club has existed on and off at St. Olaf College for many years. In 2004-2005, the club was re-established, electing new officers (Katie, Lindsey, Brooke, Danaca, Sarah, and Emily) and creating a new constitution. The club had several social events and produced a Norwegian Club t-shirt.
