Overview:
In this web exercise, you will be learning about
Norwegian sizes, clothing, and colors. Do the
exercises highlighted in green below and write the
answers on a separate sheet of paper.
1. Clothing sizes
- Exercise 1.1:
Go to the web site for the
Ellos clothing
catalog. At the top of the page, there are
measurement tables (måltabeller) for women
(dame), men (herre), children (barn), and shoes
(sko). Click on either women or men and write
down the Norwegian sizes that correspond to
Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large, and Extra
Extra Large.
2. Clothing
- Exercise 2.1:
Go back to the main page of the
Ellos clothing
catalog. On the left side, there is a menu.
Click on "Shopping Direkte." A new page will appear with a menu on
the right. Click on either women (dame) or men
(herre). Choose 2 of the items listed.
Translate the description of each item, list the
colors and sizes the item comes in, and write
the price in both crowns and dollars (7.5 kroner
= 1 dollar).
