in an Artificially Propagated Population”

In Physics, modeling occurs using mathematical
expressions of well established physical laws like F=ma and Hooke's
Law. In the management of natural resources such laws are not
available yet mathematical modeling is absolutely essential to
making correct management decisions.
In this talk I will present an accessible
example of the mathematical models that are used to manage endangered
animal species, in this case Pacific Chinook salmon.
