"Progress in the St. Olaf Positron Research Group or
Ole the Positron"

Jason Engbrecht

St. Olaf College

In the past 3-½ years, the St. Olaf Positron Research Group has seen tremendous progress on three fronts.  In the first, understanding basic antimatter-matter interactions, we have demonstrated the ability to track Positronium energies down to room temperature using Doppler Broadening techniques for the first time anywhere.  Secondly, we have established the ability to use Ps in biological systems, namely the observation of micelle aggregation numbers.  Finally, we have firmly established ourselves as THE premiere research group at St. Olaf with our fantastic disc golf skills and personalized shirts.  Each of these important items will be discussed in detail in this talk.
