Phi Beta Kappa Induction
The Phi Beta Kappa Society is the oldest and most prestigious academic honor society in the United States, and each year St. Olaf College elects a small number of qualified students to join. Election to Phi Beta Kappa recognizes not just good grades but also intangible qualities that make an exemplary student, such as a questioning intellect, a disciplined mind, and a wide range of interests. This year, nine psychology majors were inducted into the society: Janne Dale, Anya Galli, Abby Hughes, Anna Johnson, Amy Larsen, Nicole Schmidt, Liana Schreiber, Shannon Thornblad, and Brad Wagenaar. Congratulations to these students on their accomplishments!
