Mary Elizabeth Anderson,
Assistant Professor of Religion
Mary Anderson earned her PhD in church history from Luther Seminary in 2004. Her specialty is the Lutheran Reformation, and she has done extensive work with twentieth century Swedish theology and the doctrine of vocation. In 2006, her book Gustaf Wingren and the Swedish Luther Renaissance was published by Peter Lang.
In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis and racquetball, reading, and hiking in the mountains of the her home state of Washington.
