Erik McDonald
Erik McDonald, Visiting Assistant Professor of Russian Language and Area Studies, earned a B.A. from Cornell University and a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research interests have included the poets Pushkin, Nekrasov, Kuzmin, and Tsvetaeva, and he is currently looking at the portrayal of informers in nineteenth-century Russian poetry and prose. He lives in Minneapolis with his wife, Tami, and daughter, Vivian.
