My involvement in local, state and regional social work education efforts includes MCSWE (Minnesota's Social Work Educators' Group), Rural Social Work Caucus, and the Minnesota Pathways from Poverty Team. For more than 25 years I have served as faculty member, program director, or field coordinator in undergraduate programs. I was on the founding committee of the Social Work in Latin American Context a consortial semester program for BSW students. My expertise is generalist social work practice and education of the baccalaureate student with special concern for rural social work practice, families experiencing poverty, and social ministry.
