Rae Ann Konkol (formerly Rae Ann Lebens)
Class of 1991

I spent a year after graduating in 1991 as a youth minister, then went back to grad school. I graduated in May of 1994 from St. John's University in Collegeville with a Master's Degree in Pastoral Ministry with an emphasis in Religious Education.

Since graduating from St. John's, I have been working in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee as a Director of Religious Education. First at a small parish, St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Kenosha, WI and currently at a large Church, St. Roman Parish in Milwaukee.

I got married to Jeff Konkol on Oct. 14, 1995 and we have 2 children, Gregory, who is seven and a half and Stephen, who is three and a half. (They insist on the “halfs” being added.)

The best part of my job is probably going on our yearly mission trips to help rebuild and repair the homes of those who cannot do it themselves. This year I am taking 46 teens and 13 adults to Wallaceburg, Ontario, Canada through Group Workcamps. 5 years ago we started with 8 youth and 2 adults. We've grown over the years! But it is a phenomenal way to help teens realize that their faith is "cool" and they can have fun serving others!

Wendy Shaw (formerly Wendy Anderson)
Class of 1991

After graduation I worked in various non-profits in MN, NY and MT which provided services to developmentally disabled individuals. In 1993, I married Jeff Shaw, also a 1991 graduate from the Psych Department and accompanied him to NY as he pursued his Masters in Human Genetics from Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, NY. I received my Masters in Public Administration from the University of Montana, Bozeman in 1997. I worked for the District Attorney's Office, Juvenile Diversion Program in Colorado Springs, CO from 1997 to 2000 and for the past five years I have worked for Pikes Peak Council, Boy Scouts of America. Although, my current job is far from my days on "the Hill" as a "soc" major, I find it very rewarding. Jeff and I really enjoy living in Colorado and we take advantage of all the great things it has to offer (season passes to Breckenridge).
