Jean Elliott
Class of 1999
Since graduation in '99, I've been the Youth Director at First United Methodist Church of Stillwater, MN and the Administrative Assistant in the Religious and Spiritual Life Office at Hamline University. I'm leaving my youth director position at the end of this month and continuing my duties (now full-time) at Hamline. After being a student worker in the Soc./Anthro. dept under Eileen Shimota, I have an interesting perspective as I now have my own student workers :) My next adventures include taking seminary courses to be certified in youth ministry and then finding another youth director position full-time.

Sara Ursin
Class of 1999
I spent my first four years after St. Olaf managing industrial/organizational research projects in Minneapolis. Shockingly, I used everything I learned in Research Methods (including SPSS) on a daily basis! But, my time in "corporate america" ran its course and I opted for a little adventure, so I moved to Japan! For the last 18 months I've been teaching English in a public high school in Shizuoka, Japan, and I plan to stay in Japan for another year and a half!

Lynn Wetzler
Class of 1999
I am currently working at the University of Washington Business School in Seattle managing and directing the annual giving program for the Business School. I'm in the process of applying to grad school for public policy (or public administration, depending on the school). In February I'm going back to Thailand (went on Term in Asia while at Olaf) and will stop in Tokyo and connect with Sara Ursin.
