Summer 2008 - Professor Tom Williamson has been granted a faculty development summer grant to study Converging Health Systems in Malaysia. He is "particularly interested in the way different health care systems (for example, Ayurvedic medicine and the National Health Service) combine in Malaysian life." The research builds on work he did last summer.
April 29, 2008 - Professor Bruce Nordstrom-Loeb takes part in a panel discussion on Justice in Palestine. The panel is at 7:00 pm in Trollhaugen and is part of Palestine Education Week, April 28th-May 3rd.
March 15, 2008 - Professor Bruce Nordstrom-Loeb participates in the 2008 Harambee Conference. The theme of the conference is "Apply Label Here" with a mission to address and raise awareness of social issues relevant not only to society in which we live, but also to the St. Olaf Community. Bruce's seminar is entitled "Who Are You Really? Who Decides? And Does It Matter?"
