Women's Studies, an interdisciplinary program, focuses on the significance of gender in the formation of knowledge and human experience. Majors and concentrators take a range of courses in the humanities, social sciences and sciences, as well as in the Women's Studies program. Students explore the new scholarship about gender and gain an understanding of a variety of women's experiences across cultures and throughout history. Women's Studies seeks to enrich our understanding of women's lives and to consider the conditions necessary to create a more equitable world.
I've been posting flyers about Women's Studies graduate and summer program on the bulletin board outside Holland 514. If anything of general interest goes by. I'll send an e-mail alerting you.
My office is Holland 513C and my office hours for fall are Mondays, 2-3, Thursdays, 9-11, and by appointment. I'm around other times too.
Hope to see you all soon.
