2008 St. Olaf Phonathon

Calling has ended for the school year, but we'll resume next fall.

Who are the Callers?

The Ole Callers are a team of over 40 enthusiastic and dedicated St. Olaf students who call alumni during 14 weeks of the fiscal year to solicit gifts for Partners in Annual Giving.

They play an essential role of sustaining St. Olaf financially.  The work of the Ole Callers accounts for 25% of the overall money raised and 46% of total participation to the St. Olaf annual fund.

Ole callers are friendly and personable.  They are given an outline of important points to cover during the call, but they are encouraged to develop their own style and make each phone call unique.

They are engaged members of the St. Olaf community.  Regardless of the outcome of the phone call, the students re-establish a link from the alum to St. Olaf and create meaningful connections between today's students and alumni of all ages.
